DISNEY CHANNEL GAME FOR KID

What does the brand name “Disney” make you think of? Probably television, and definitely movies. You may not associate Disney with games. Did you know that the Disney Channel offers almost a hundred games for your kids to play for free online? Keep reading for a sample of what kind of games you and your kids can find on the Disney Channel website.

“Cory’s Swerve and Serve” is a Cory in the House—themed game. This is one of the many games offered in “XD,” or Disney Xtreme Digital. (Presumably the equivalent of High Definition.) “Cory’s Swerve and Serve” is a cute action game in which you must run in and out of the White House kitchens, grabbing meals and serving guests before they get angry. In the meantime, you have to work around the Secret Service that is patrolling the room. You win if you can you’re your way through all of the meal’s courses. The graphics are sufficient for a kids’ game.

Another fun disneychannel.com action game is “Dangerous Descent,” an American Dragon: Jake Long game. You must save magical creatures which have been captured and taken deep within the bowels of the earth. On your way down, you can fire at goons with your dragon breath and pick up extra health. There are five magical creatures for you to rescue, and you must face down a mini-boss before you can unlock the cells in which the creatures are imprisoned.

Maybe you need a game with a slower pace. Try the Kim Possible “Super Villain Face-Off.” This is a neat puzzle game in which you must try to clear rows of villains from the screen. You shoot villains from Kim’s hairdryer and make matches of three or more in order to eliminate them. The game is not timed, but watch your aim. If the danger meter fills up—which it does when you shoot seven villains from the hairdryer without making a match—then the rows all move down a notch.

As you can see, there is a huge selection of games for you (or your kid) to choose from. The best part is, they are all free, and you can play without ever having to register. Go check out the Disney Channel’s website and take advantage of all the free games and activities that are waiting just for you.
